Parrano Originale is a unique cheese - passionate, temperamental. But it's more than that. We say it's …sort of Italian - strong and straightforward, but not pungent or sharp. It is a universal taste for which you don't have to be Italian.

It looks ...sort of Dutch
Although it is true that Parrano tastes ...sort of Italian, its structure is very similar to Dutch Gouda - not too hard and not too soft. Slicing is ...sort of easy.

The secret revealed
Since you would never be able to imitate it, we can tell you that Parrano is a deanery cheese. This is a type of cheese that uses a special coagulant to give it a slightly sweet, nut-flavored taste. To reach its full flavor, we allow Parrano to mature for 20 weeks. The strong taste therefore does not come from the salt content.

When and how
When does this culinary delight come into its own? Virtually anytime. Normal rules do not apply to such a passionate cheese. And you won't want to treat it sparingly. Once you try it, you will find it difficult to stop. On bread, with drinks or as part of various dishes. No problem. Parrano retains its unique taste in hot dishes. It melts well and is not stringy. Yes, this is a cheese in search of a recipe.


Parrano Robusto
A delicious cheese, ripened for nine months, that is really worthy of it's name. An extra spicy and robust cheese. You can use this cheese as a snack with a drink, but it also gives salads, sauces and other dishes the temper they need.




Parrano Gorgonzola
Parrano Gorgonzola has a wonderful aroma and a pleasantly piquant taste with a creamy, mild foundation.

Parrano Gorgonzola Mascarpone
Parrano Gorgonzola/Mascarpone is composed of alternating layers of Gorgonzola and the fresh Italian cream cheese Mascarpone.




Parrano Olifesta
Parrano Olifesta is a wonderfully creamy 50+ dairy product prepared with olive oil. Glorious little sun-ripened tomatoes and Italian herbs are added to this dairy product.




Parrano Mozzarella
Parrano Mozzarella is fibrous, tender and milky with a fresh soft taste. Suitable for all applications.

Parrano Buffalo Mozzarella

Parrano Mascarpone
Parrano Mascarpone is a fresh Italian cream cheese for use in dishes such as Tiramisu for instance.




Parrano Pamesan
Hard cheese, made of skimmed cowmilk. These cheese are in the brine for 20 to 30 days so the crust ripenes slowly. The cheese is very hard and that's why Parrano has two products, Pamesan grated and Pamesan powder. This cheese is excellent for gratin or to garnish dishes.
