Spicy Parrano® Almond Crackers

  1. 1 /14 cups almond meal
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1 tsp olive oil
  4. 1/2 cup shredded Parrano® cheese
  5. 1 Tbsp of flax seeds or sesame seeds
  6. 1 Tbsp dried chives
  7. 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  8. a pinch of salt (optional)
  1. Put everything into a bowl and mix it with your fork, then work it into a ball with your hands.
  2. Put dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out to about 1/8 of an inch. Be careful not to make them too thin.
  3. Remove top layer of parchment paper, and put it on a baking sheet.
  4. Using a pizza cutter, cut dough into squares.
  5. Place the squares on the parchment lined baking tray, sprinkle lightly with salt, and bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
